Hiram Students Bring Back Sugar Day

Hiram College’s newly-resurrected Sugar Day was a success as students, faculty, staff and community members danced while they packaged dry goods from the Pack Shack to provide meals to local hunger relief organizations. The College’s original goal of providing 40,000 meals was exceeded by more than 3,000.
Cleveland’s WEWS TV-5 and Portage County’s Record Courier were on hand to showcase the great work of the Hiram College community. Channel 5 reporter Lauren Wilson’s story aired during the 4 p.m. newscast.
