Our student “Tele-Terriers” will be calling soon to share recent news and successes from Hiram College and to let you know of the many ways you can stay involved with the College. As an appreciated member of the Hiram community, we hope you will take a few moments to answer the phone, share your personal Hiram story and hear how the Hiram Fund shapes our students’ experiences. After all, the achievements of our students, faculty and alumni are due in no small part to supporters, like you! We look forward to talking with you soon!
Hiram’s Study Abroad Office invites alumni to audit their upcoming course in New Zealand during the Fall 3-week session in 2017. The application deadline has been extended to March 15.
New Zealand, like the United States, is a wealthy, democratic, market-oriented society that cherishes the concept of freedom. However, the two nations have taken very different trajectories since the late 1970s. New Zealanders have been surveyed as some of the happiest people in the world, and through this study abroad course, you will examine human happiness at two levels of analysis: individual and societal.
