Annual Swimming and Diving Reunion
Travel back to Hiram Hill this weekend for a day that includes the Men's and Women's Varsity swim meet against Washington & Jefferson College at 1:00 p.m., "spoof events" for the alumni and their families (so don't forget your suits), and a casual dinner with the current team. Intercultural Forum Show and Dinner
The largest club on campus—The Intercultural Forum (IF)—is excited to present their biggest annual event on February 2nd: The IF show and dinner. This event has become a deeply rooted tradition at Hiram College. The aim of the Intercultural Forum is to learn about cultures from all over the world and create an understanding between the different customs present among us. The IF show and dinner is our chance to display the club's purpose to the public. It is the chance where Hiram students from all over the world join together to entertain our community.
The dinner will start at 5:00 and end at 7:00 on the second floor of the Kennedy Center. Dinner will feature savory dishes from all over the globe and the show will feature talented performances from multiple cultures. The show will start at 7:30 in Hayden Auditorium.
Dinner tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Welcome Center of the Kennedy Center. For ticket reservations please call: 330-569-6030.

Terrier Bakery Earns Entrepreneurship Accolades
Hiram College's student-run Terrier Bakery earned praise from business educators from the U.S. Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) conference on Jan. 11 in San Francisco.
The year-old student-run bakery was selected by a committee as one of three finalists to compete for the group's "special recognition in entrepreneurship pedagogy" award. Professor of French Ella Kirk, faculty champion of the bakery, and Kay Molkentin, director of the Center for Integrated Entrepreneurship, made a 10-minute presentation to the entrepreneurship educators in attendance. By March, 80% of the world's population crowds a 150-mile stretch, the largest gathering of cranes anywhere in the world! Creative Writing at Northwoods Field Station

This trip begins in Istanbul, where for over 2,500 years east has met west. Highlights include the Grand Bazaar, Gallipoli, the Aegean Island of Bozcaada (Tenedos), Bergama (Pergamon), and Pammukkale (The Cotton Cliffs).
