About the Atlanta Ballet
Serving over 23,000 people annually in Atlanta, the Atlanta Ballet provides a perfect outlet for creativity. The Ballet’s roots remain firmly grounded in the community and continue to play a vital role in the city’s growth and revitalization.
One of the oldest surviving classical masterpieces and August Bournonville’s most lasting contributions to dance, La Sylphide is a magical story of forbidden love and heartbreak. Set in the mist shrouded Scottish Highlands, a land of mystery and enchantment, a young Scotsman falls under the spell of a sylph, a fairy-like spirit. He devotes himself to her, but their romance is doomed and a life together an impossible dream.
Heavy appetizers and beverages graciously funded by Board of Trustee Member, Paul Whitacre ’78 and his wife, COO of the Atlanta Ballet, Pamela Whitacre
The low price of $30 includes soda, beer, wine and heavy appetizers and your ticket to the ballet. Retail tickets are $60+ so be sure to save your spot and register today!
