Hiram College offers five distinct awards to honor its alumni. Recipients are nominated by alumni, staff, faculty, and friends of Hiram College. Outstanding Student Service Award
The Outstanding Student Service Award is awarded each year by the Hiram College Alumni Executive Board. This honor recognizes a junior or senior student whose community service during his or her time at Hiram has surpassed what is ordinarily expected of a socially responsible citizen. Rather than academic achievement, the Award recognizes exemplary service and community involvement, as those qualities are necessary components of a strong Alumni Association.
